Obedience to God Means Unpredictability to the World


Our friend Rev Amy J Rohler shares with us this week. More about Rev Amy:

Rev. Amy J. Rohler is the Executive Director of Community Helping Hands, a non-profit based in Jamestown, NY that helps low-income individuals and families with emergency needs for clothing and furniture, as well as providing opportunities for work experience and skill building for participants on public assistance. Rev. Rohler holds a B.A. in English from Seattle Pacific University, a Masters in Religion from Yale Divinity School, and a Masters of Divinity from North Park University. She moved to Jamestown in 2009 from New York City, where she and her husband co-pastored a church in the United Nations neighborhood. Although she was born in Oregon and lived there until she was 18, she has also lived in Seattle, WA; Sioux City, IA; New Haven, CT; North Branch, MN; Chicago, IL and New York, NY. Rev. Rohler has two children, ages 3 and 5. She loves reading, writing, being outside and community development.
